How much time do people spend on smartphones during their lifetime?

Few doubt that smartphones take up a lot of time: watch the news, flip through “telegrams” and “instagram”, play, watch videos with cats, and so on. How much, counted at WhisleOut, coming to a disappointing conclusion: just under nine years in a lifetime. Millennials (born between 1981 and 1996) have the worst case – they spend 3.7 hours a day on their mobiles.

Representatives of the so-called Generation X spend a little less time in smartphones – three hours a day, and then baby boomers follow them – about 2.5 hours a day.

However, it should be noted that the calculations used a mathematical model, which was based on a survey of thousands of people, divided into different age groups. In addition, the fact is not taken into account that a smartphone may well be a working tool (as well as a tool for learning and, of course, communication) – spending several hours a day in it does not mean wasting time.
